Born on the twenty first of January, 1905, with a silver spoon in his mouth, Christian Dior is considered to be a revolutionary fashion designer by the fashion press. The real fashion designing talent of this fashion machine began to show when he took on his first fashion design job as a fashion illustrator and later on as a designing assistant.

However, it was not until the 1947 that he finally launched his fashion designing House of Dior and the 'New Look'. Nevertheless, the career of the designer lasted only ten years until he finally died in 1957.
