Accessing Your Personal Finance Software: Secure Passwords

April 23rd, 2008 by admin

You don’t want your personal finance software data to get into anyone and everyone’s hands. There are people out there who would not give a second thought before committing identity theft. Don’t choose an easy to guess password. The people who are involved with you the most can easily guess things like y our birth date, your social security number, or your age or address. Some numbers are obvious, such as—license plate, house number, and phone numbers—avoid using them as passwords. Your personal finance software password should be known only to you and a trusted family member or perhaps a legal consultant sworn to confidentiality. In case of your demise someone has to have access to your account. Use a combination that no one could possibly guess.
